Providing More Opportunities To Make A Difference
Volunteer opportunities include tasks such as sorting clothing and medical supplies, assembling school supplies for backpacks, providing office skills or creating items for our community partners such as schools and local organizations, that nurture and teach children. World Vision has a volunteer center within the North Texas facility that provides a separate room where volunteers can work on creating child-focused products from raw, donated materials. For example, on occasion World Vision receives goods from our corporate partners that are not useful to our community partners in their current form. Volunteers take the raw materials, apply their creative skills and create useful items that enhance learning. When World Vision's North Texas site received three pallets of cloth material, volunteers became engaged in making puppets and other cutouts to be used as learning aids in the classroom.
Training and coaching is available to all volunteers so no experience is necessary!
Volunteer to make a difference now!!!
