World Vision is a Christian organization and a leader in addressing the root causes of poverty and injustice worldwide. We offer short–term mission trips as a tool to help create a better life for children and families in poverty in the U.S. We are not a short–term mission organization doing community development. We are an organization that focuses on helping communities transform – and short–term mission trips, when done well, help fuel transformation.

  • World Vision mission trips welcome groups of Adults, Youth and Children ages 5+.
  • Our mission trips make an impact on local communities by focusing on home repair and children's programming such as VBS, sports camps or educational enrichment activities.
  • Your group will build lasting relationships as you interact with community members, home owners and children.
  • All trips must include a ratio of 1 adult for every 5 minors.
  • The minimum group size is 2 participants, where one of the group members is an adult. We encourage you to invite a family member or friend(s) to join you, instead of you registering alone. Service activities are always better when experienced in community.
  • Your group is required to provide transportation for the mission week.
  • For more information, please check our FAQs or see a Sample Schedule.
