Fees

World Vision's U.S. Programs works to keep the cost of mission trips as low as possible. Unfortunately, the rising cost of food, gas, and construction supplies caused our overhead to increase significantly over the past four years. We are forced to make the difficult decision to raise our fees for 2014. We remain committed to serving children in need in communities across the U.S. We hope the fee increase will not prevent you and your group from serving children through our mission trips.

To reserve a spot, a nonrefundable deposit of $50 per participant is required. The deposit will be deducted from the total balance. The first payment, less the deposit amount, is due April 1. The second and final payment is due June 1.

The fee per participant does not include travel costs to the mission site or during the mission trip. Each group is required to provide its own transportation.

The per-participant fee for youth groups, family groups, and adult groups at each mission trip site includes the following (except where indicated):

Youth/Adult Group Trips (Appalachia)

Per-participant fee: $410. In addition, youth and adult groups will be required to pay a group fee for building materials. The group size is used to calculate the required fee. (Please see chart below.)

Youth/Adult Group Trips (Immokalee, Florida, and Dallas, Texas)

Per-participant fee: $82 per night. There is no building material fee.

Family Group Trips (Appalachia)

The fees are designed to make the mission trip affordable overall for families, especially large families, while allowing World Vision to cover necessary expenses. As a result, the age 11 and up rate is higher—and the age 4-10 rate is lower—than the youth group rate. There is no building material fee for family groups.

*Required minimum group fee for building supplies are based on the size of the youth group, adult group or disaster relief group. This fee does not apply to a family group.
