World Vision greatly relies on volunteers to help accomplish our work in New York City. For deeper involvement in World Vision’s work in New York City, there are volunteer opportunities available in:
Customer Service – expediting and assisting World Vision’s member organizations and schools receiving product resources from World Vision’s warehouse.
Research and administration – individual needed to assist in researching specific data pertaining to World Vision’s work in New York City.
Merchandising and warehouse – carry out the design and maintenance of World Vision’s product resource area. Help to improve the product flow by design and arrange product display for optimum product selection for World Vision’s member organizations. Prepare special request orders for member organizations.
Volunteer supervisor – oversee work of volunteer groups and individuals that come to World Vision to volunteer. The supervisor would welcome the groups, present a brief orientation about their specific projects and oversee their work throughout the day. This position would be especially helpful on Saturdays, as we have many volunteer groups on Saturdays.
