FAQs

Frequently asked questions about World Vision's KidREACH Program:

What does KidREACH stand for?

The name stands for kid and REACH: Relating, Educating, And Communicating Hope.

What is the KidREACH Portal?

The KidREACH Portal is a free website for tutors, mentors, parents, educators—anyone working with children—to access high-quality training and resources focused on strengthening the social, emotional, and academic skills of young people between the ages of 5 and 11.

What does it cost?

There is no fee for accessing the KidREACH Portal or for partnering with World Vision and becoming a KidREACH Program site.

Those wishing to financially support the ongoing work of the KidREACH Portal (to develop more trainings and resources), and the KidREACH Program (to make trainings and networking opportunities more available), may send their tax-deductible donations to:

World Vision
Mailstop 475, ATTN: KidREACH
P.O. Box 9716
Federal Way, WA 98063-9716

Please make out your check to "World Vision" and include "For KidREACH" on the memo line.

How does this connect to World Vision's work?

World Vision believes that in order for children to experience a full, abundant life, they need four things:

  1. To experience the love of God, and their neighbor.
  2. To enjoy good health.
  3. To be cared for, protected, and participating in the decisions that affect their lives.
  4. To be educated for life.

Being "educated for life," means more than knowing how to read and do math (although those are very critical). It also means having the ability to navigate the challenges of everyday life.

Through the KidREACH Portal and KidREACH Program sites, World Vision is helping equip caring adults to provide high-quality mentoring and tutoring so that more children can experience life in all its fullness.

I completed the subscription registration form, but I still don't have access to the KidREACH Portal.
What do I do?

Please allow up to two business days for your account to be activated. If more than two business days have passed, please email us at uspnetworks@worldvision.org or call 1.866.860.KIDS (5437).

Are we required to use the "KidREACH" name?

No. Your program does not have to go by KidREACH to subscribe to the KidREACH Portal or to participate as a KidREACH Partner site.
